Hauling junk is the easy part. What sets JB’s Junk Removal apart is what happens after we load the truck. We were built on a simple idea: most of what people call “junk” still has life left in it. So instead of driving everything straight to the landfill, we sort every load by hand and find the most responsible home for each item — which is how we keep roughly 60% of what we collect out of the landfill.

How We Keep Junk Out of the Landfill

Every job we do follows the same order of priority. The landfill is always the last resort, never the first stop.

• Donate. Furniture, appliances, housewares and building materials in usable shape go to local charities and thrift stores — places like the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Goodwill — so they can be resold or given to families who need them.
• Recycle. Metal, cardboard, paper, and electronics are routed to the right recycling streams. E-waste and appliances with refrigerants are handled through proper facilities, not tossed in a hole.
• Repurpose. Building materials, fixtures, and odd items that still have value are kept in circulation through reuse networks whenever we can find a taker.
• Dispose responsibly. Only what's genuinely worn out or unusable makes the final trip to a licensed landfill — and we handle that part so you never have to.
