What areas do you serve?
We serve the entire Triangle — Durham, Wake, and Orange Counties — including Durham, Raleigh, Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Morrisville, Knightdale and the surrounding towns.
How does your pricing work?
Our pricing is volume-based — you pay for the space your items take up in the truck, not by the hour or the item. After a quick look, we give you a clear, all-inclusive quote on-site before any work starts. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Do I need to be there for the pickup?
It helps to be there at the start so you can point out what is going and approve the quote, but you do not have to stay for the whole job. If you cannot be on-site, we can usually make arrangements — just let us know when you book.
How quickly can you schedule a pickup?
We offer flexible scheduling, including same-day and next-day appointments when availability allows, plus evening and weekend slots for busy households and businesses.
What do I need to do to prepare?
Nothing, really — just make sure we can reach the items. There is no need to bag, box, move, or drag anything to the curb. Our crew removes everything from wherever it sits, including basements and attics.
What items do you NOT take?
We cannot take hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, fuels, asbestos, or certain batteries. You can see the full list of what we do and do not take on our What We Take page, or just call and ask.
What happens to the items you haul away?
We sort every load so usable items are donated to local charities and recyclables are recycled — roughly 60% of what we collect is kept out of the landfill.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. JB's Junk Removal is fully licensed and insured, and every crew member is background-checked and arrives in uniform on a clean, branded truck.
